Delivery
to Diploma Stuffing
- Nov 29
Each month, about 500 babies are born in Fayette county hospitals. Fayette County Public Schools encourages new families to engage in lifelong learning by giving them a gift bag with educational materials. The Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement invites Transy volunteers to help assemble those gift bags Thursday, Nov 29. Volunteers are needed at 4-5 p.m. and 5-6 p.m. at the old Johnson Elementary School, 123 Sixth Street. Eligible students may earn work-study funding for their service, but must contact Karen Anderson in advance. Volunteers should use their Transy e-mail addresses to sign up by Wednesday, Nov 28 here. For more information, contact Karen Anderson at 8182, or kanderson@transy.edu.
