Northside Neighborhood Association Tour - May 19

The Northside Neighborhood Association is looking for volunteers to help with their 2013 Historic House & Garden Tour on Sunday, May 19th, from Noon to 5pm.  Contact Dr. Phil Points, 255-1284 or p.points@insightbb.com     for details about times of shifts, number of volunteers needed, tasks volunteers will accomplish, and more! The Northside Neighborhood Association (NNA) receives all proceeds from the tour after expenses are paid. This is their main fundraising event traditionally held biennially. Proceeds from previous tours have been used for:

·         the Northside front porch repair grant program

·         the renovation of a mid19^th century home on Miller Street

·         a gift to Florence Crittenden Home for the rehabilitation of their building

·         Jefferson St. Fire station window shades

·         ongoing Founders Park maintenance (5^th Street and North Broadway)

·         the restoration of the Harrison Elementary School playground
