Race to Read 5k/10k- April 20

Join Chief Meteorologist Bill Meck in historic downtown Midway, KY for the 10th Anniversary Race for Education’s, Race to Read 5k/10k, in memory of Karri Casner, presented by Equus Standardbred Station. Event will be held Saturday, April 20, from 8:30 am - noon. Gift Certificates given to the top three overall winners. Medals given to the top three age group winners. There will be a celebration breakfast for participants, families and fans beginning at 10:00 am.  Entrant must complete the 5k within 50 minutes and the 10k within 75 minutes to be eligible for prizes/awards. The pre-registration fee is $20; it goes up to $25 on race day. Race packets include t-shirt, number, race info and free goodies.  Walkers are welcome to participate, but no bikes, dogs or roller blades allowed. To pre-register, visit the registration website by April 15. To pre-register by mail before April 15, sent it to The Race for Education, 1818 Versailles Road, Lexington, KY 40504.
