H4H Shamrock Shuffle 3K - March 8, 14 and 15, 2014
Habitat for Humanity is
planning their Shamrock Shuffle 3K run and they need about 150 volunteers to make the event a success. Here are the dates and
shifts when they need help:
- Saturday, March 8: Volunteers will pre-register participants at the Habitat ReStore, 451 Southland Drive. Available shifts are 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 1-5:30 p.m. and 5-7:30 p.m. Lunch and dinner are provided by Raising Cane's.
- Friday, March 14:
Volunteers will pre-register participants at the Habitat ReStore and then
help set up for the race at the Lexington Center in the final shift.
Available shifts are 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 1-5:30 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Lunch
and dinner are provided by Raising Cane's.
- Saturday, March 15:
On race day, volunteers assist with greeting and registering participants,
setting up the race course and cleaning up after the race from 6-10 a.m.
There is also an early shift for volunteers who want to participate in the
race. A light breakfast and
refreshments -- and a free race t-shirt -- will be provided for all
volunteers.
