Administration Home Respite Program - Ongoing
The Veterans Administration is seeking reliable volunteers to help with
their Home Respite Program. Volunteers provide dignified, compassionate support
to ill and injured veterans in their homes. Volunteers must be over 18 years
old, have have their own transportation,
pass a background check, attend training, be courteous, and dependable.
Volunteers may make visits 1-2 times a week for a few hours. The next training
is on September 22, from 10 am-2:30 pm.
