Kentucky Collegiate Leadership Conference Call for Programs: Dec 5

Kentucky Collegiate Leadership Conference Call for Programs: Dec 5

The 2013 Kentucky Collegiate Leadership Conference will be hosted at NKU on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the James C. & Rachel Votruba Student Union.  All details about the conference can be found on this site.  In the past, Transylvania has participated in many ways with this conference, from sending a delegation of 20 students, student/staff/alumni presenters, alumni keynote speakers, and even hosting it on our campus.

They are looking for workshop proposals for the conference.  The session proposal deadline is Wednesday, December 5, 2012 by 3 pm.  They are accepting proposals for the following tracks of the conference:
  • Community Service
  • Greek (Fraternity and Sorority) Life
  • General/Leadership 101
  • Programming Boards
  • Student Governance (SGA)

If you are not intersted in presenting, but would like to attend, they are holding 15 seats per school until Friday, January 18th, 2013. This will guarantee that all schools have a chance to send students. After this date, registration will be open to all until the conference fills. If you would like to attend this conference as part of Transylvania's guaranteed delegation, please send an e-mail to Karen Anderson, kanderson@transy.edu, by January 14, 2013 at 10:30 am. Please include the following in your e-mail:

Last Name

Phone Number

Preferred Track  (Community Service, Greek, General Leadership, Student Programming, or SGA)

Who will pay? (office or name of person)

Will student ride in the Transylvania van or drive themselves? ( I would prefer we all rode together, unless it’s a special circumstance like the need to be back on campus by 1 pm for work, etc.)

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Tiffany Mayse, Assistant Director of Leadership Development at NKU, mayset@nku.edu.  On Transylvania's campus, contact Karen Anderson, kanderson@transy.edu for more information.
