Delivery to Diploma - Feb 7, 2013

Delivery to Diploma Stuffing - Feb 7

Each month, about 500 babies are born in Fayette county hospitals. Fayette County Public Schools encourages new families to engage in lifelong learning by giving them a gift bag with educational materials. The Staff Engagement Team and the Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement invites Transy volunteers to help assemble those gift bags Thursday, February 7. Volunteers are needed at 4-5 p.m. and 5-6 p.m. at the old Johnson Elementary School, 123 Sixth Street. Eligible students may earn work-study funding for their service, but must contact Karen Anderson in advance. Volunteers should use their Transy e-mail addresses to sign up by Wednesday, Feb 6 here. For more information, contact Mayme Clayton, mclayton@transy.edu  or Karen Anderson at 8182, or kanderson@transy.edu.
