The
LFUCG/UK MLK Day Celebration committee is looking for 5-8 volunteers to assist
with preparing for the MLK Freedom March and Commemorative Program. Tasks
include hanging signs, decorating stage, helping technicians, etc. inside LCC
Heritage Hall.
They
may have one or more banners for some volunteers to carry during the 10:00 am
march. It is a great experience for those who participate; not very difficult
tasks. Volunteers should check with Terry Allen at the INFORMATION table
in Heritage Hall corridor on West Main Street by 8:00 am on January 21st. This project should conclude when the Commemorative program begins at
11:00 am. Volunteers are welcome to stay for the program if they so
choose.
