Lexington Public Library Village Branch – Ongoing
LPL Village Branch is seeking volunteers for their Homework Help program. The program serves approximately 35 students each night, Monday through Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Volunteers help K-5 students with daily homework assignments; talk and interact with children; and play games with children. Volunteers commit 2 hours per week for the semester and must pass a criminal background check (no cost to the volunteer). Village Branch is located at 2185 Versailles Road, about 3 miles from campus.
