End of Year Donation Drive - May 20

With the end of the school year comes the need to pack up your belongings and move off campus. If there are items you don't want to take with you, consider giving them a new life through the End Of The Year Donation Drive.

The sustainability office is working with the residence life office to send out information on what sort of things can be collected and donated to local non-profit organizations. Watch for that information to be delivered through your Resident Assistant.

Items will be picked up on Monday, May 20 by representatives of the following groups:

• Students Against Hunger and Homelessness
• Kappa Alpha Order
• Pi Kappa Alpha
• T.U.T.O.R.S.
• Transylvania Theater Guild
• TUnity
• Transylvania Environmental Action League

This collection will provide a convenient way to donate gently used clothing, books, CDs, DVDs, cookware or unopened food or new school supplies to a local non-profit agency. Perhaps Students Against Hunger and Homelessness could use any peanut butter, jelly or sandwich bags for future HOPE Mobile Outreach programming.
