National Service Impact Awards - June 30
Calling all current and former AmeriCorps members!
The Corporation for National and Community Service
is looking for entries for the National Service Impact Awards. Nominations
should exemplify the best in national and community service in the following
areas:
- Disaster Services
- Economic Opportunity
- Education
- Environmental Stewardship
- Healthy Futures
- Veterans and Military Families
Current CNCS service participants and alumni,
program directors, programs and initiatives funded through grants (or
sub-grants) from CNCS are eligible to win.
Submissions must be entered by 5 PM, EDT on
Sunday, June 30, 2013.Recipients will be announced and recognized on CNCS’s
website and through traditional and social media. Recipients will receive
a Service Impact statue recognizing their award and be showcased at relevant CNCS
grantee meetings. Visit their site to learn more about the awards and
previous winners.
Keep this in mind for future reference if you are applying to participate in a National Service program over the summer or after you graduate.
