Pioneer in Action Service Award - May 6
Nominations are being sought for the 2013 Pioneer in Action Service Award. This award is given to a Transylvania student based upon longevity and depth of individual service to the non-profit community, and degree to which they represent Transylvania University to the Lexington community. Group community service shall also be considered, but the emphasis is on individual, direct service. Service to communities beyond Lexington can be included (ASB, summer volunteering at home, etc.) but the emphasis will be on the Lexington community.
Students may be nominated by a Transylvania
campus or extended community member or they may nominate themselves. If you would like to nominate someone for
this award, please contact Karen Anderson and she will forward the link and your name to the student. You may also send the link above directly to the student and encourage them to complete the form. Ultimately, the nominee needs to
complete the form. The deadline for sending nominations to Karen is May 2, and the deadline for the nominee to complete the form is May 6.
