Governor's Awards for Volunteerism and Service - February 26, 2014
It's time to nominate outstanding
individuals or groups for the Governor's Awards for Volunteerism
and Service. This award recognized service completed in 2013.
The
nomination form and other helpful resources can be found on the KCCVS website. Please
read all the information carefully, as there have been a few changes to the
required information, as well as the introduction of a new Veteran Volunteer
Service Award category. Transylvania alumna Francesca Pribble and Transylvania staff member Ashley Gutshall were awarded the Governor’s Award for
Volunteerism and Service in the National Service/Individual category
in 2008 and 2009, respectively. The nomination deadline is Wednesday, February 26, 2014.
