Voting Rights Lobby Day and Rally - January 15, 2014
Kentuckians For The Commonwealth is holding a Voting Rights Lobby Day
and Rally on Wednesday, January 15 in Frankfort. Training starts at 8:45
am in Capitol Annex Room 113; lobbying runs from 9 am to 12:30 pm, and the
Rally is at 1:00 pm in the Capitol Rotunda.
The focus of the rally is the restoration of voting rights for former
felons. Crenshaw will again introduce it in the House, and Neal in the
senate. If the issue of voter ID laws comes up, the KFTC is opposed to
stricter laws.
