Valentines for Adult Day Center - Feb 3-7

Show a little love for the elderly in our neighborhood this Valentine's Day! The Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement will have a table in Forrer Front Lobby from February 3 to 7, from 5-7 p.m., to create personalized Valentine's Day cards for our neighbors at the Christian Care Communities Adult Day Center. In addition, the center will host a Valentine's party on Feb. 14 from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. and would like three to four Transylvania volunteers to help distribute those valentines. Christian Care Communities is a few blocks from campus at 516 Maryland Ave. Students eligible for work study could volunteer at the party in exchange for work study funding, if arranged two to three days before the party.
