Monica & David: A Love Story - January 30
On January 30, 2014 the Care Service Leaders for people with
developmental challenges will be hosting a film viewing of the documentary "Monica
& David: A Love Story “. This is a heartfelt and beautiful documentary
about a young married couple whom both have down syndrome. The documentary
follows the couple after their wedding, showing their hardships and triumphs
over the first year of marriage. Monica, David, and their families will win
over your hearts with all the love and support shared with one another even in
the face of hardship. This documentary has won many awards including "Best
Documentary Award" at the Tribeca Film Festival and the South Dakota Film
Festival. This viewing of the documentary will be followed with a discussion on
the film and about living with disabilities in today's society. There will also be refreshment during the
movie so please join us at the Student Involvement Center in the William T Young Campus Center
at 7:30 PM on January 30th! If you have any questions at all please
